BIO
Dwayne Kennedy, a Chicago native, has
developed into one of the nation’s top comedians.
His social commentary and satirical diversions demonstrate a comic
genius that is truly unique. Touted as "One of Today’s
Most Insightful Comedians," he has performed his stand-up act
in comedy clubs nationwide, and most recently, was awarded The Jury
Award for best stand-up at the 2002 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
His television appearances include a half-hour special for Comedy
Central, The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan
O'Brien. Last year, Dwayne starred in his own half-hour comedy special
for Showtime. An accomplished actor, Dwayne has made numerous guest
appearances on television programs that include the hit series, Seinfeld
and Martin. Included among his many his film credits are How High,
Desperation Boulevard, Amy Stiller’s Breast and Talkin’
Dirty after Dark. Dwayne Kennedy’s comedic style incorporates
an exceptional mixture of razor-sharp wit, biting satire, and social
consciousness that consistently leaves audiences desperate for more.
